Autonomous Vehicle Symposium

24 April 2019

The Autonomous Vehicle Symposium conference will be held between the 21st and 23rd May in Messe Stuttgart, Germany.

It will concentrate on advanced technologies for autonomous vehicle development. There will be around 80 expert speakers, who will showcase the essential building blocks and systems – including AI learning and virtual environments, deep learning systems, validation of autonomous systems, and more – that will take us to full autonomy.

The conference will be held alongside the Autonomous Software & AI Symposium, the Autonomous Vehicle Interior Design & Technology Symposium, and Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo 2019 – the leading exhibition in Europe for advanced technologies for autonomous vehicle development – around 90 companies will showcase essential building blocks and systems, including AI learning and virtual environments, deep learning systems, validation of autonomous systems and more. The event is also co-located with Automotive Testing Expo (the world’s largest vehicle test and development technologies exhibition), where visitors can see countless AV and ADAS validation systems and service providers.

Topics under discussion include:

  • Synthetic and virtual environments for training and developing autonomous vehicles and systems
  • AI training and machine learning
  • ADAS calibration
  • Deep learning systems
  • Algorithms and algorithm training
  • Sensor fusion
  • Cognitive machine technologies
  • Motion planning systems
  • Gigascale data transfer
  • Virtual test driving
  • Autonomous vehicle development platforms
  • Lidar
  • Software and software development
  • Mobile robotics
